Shipment Processing Time
All orders are shipped within 1-14 days of receipt. We understand that this time frame is larger than most other businesses, but we have one person packing orders. This helps us keep our product prices low. We assure you that we are working HARD to get your order out the door as soon as possible.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, please reach out to hello@root-apothecary.com with your order number.
Shipping rates and delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. They are based on the destination, weight, and size of the package. If you have more than one open order at a time that is addressed to the same address, we may combine your orders into one shipment to reduce packaging material. This does not mean you will get refunded one shipping charge, as the weight and the size of the items that need to be shipped remain the same.
Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
If you order with your email, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Root Apothecary is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).
Damages
Root Apothecary is not liable for any products damaged, stolen or lost during shipping. If you
received your order damaged, please file a claim with the shipment carrier. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Shipping Protection
As stated above, Root Apothecary is not liable for any products damaged, stolen or lost during shipping. We offer Route Shipping Protection at checkout. If you add shipping protection to your order, your entire order will be covered in the case of package loss, theft, or damage. We highly recommend this option.
If you add Route to your order, you are able to quickly file a claim with route, or we can do it on your behalf.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery
We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by the USPS. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded.
Root Apothecary will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.
